Absolutely. My optimizing to the second significant figure IS kinda silly. I suspect if I only charge to past 80% when I really need it, avoid fast chargers (again, unless I really need it like on a long trip) and try not to go below 10% it won't make much difference even if I plug in every night. Will it make some? Probably. So maybe after 30,000 km, my battery has 5% more capacity than yours (making that up, but probably of that order).oLast but not least, are we not driving ourselves a bit nuts on this ?
I have no idea what difference it makes if you charge your battery when it is cold on battery life. I know it will charge more slowly. I know cold batteries don't supply as much power either. Dunno if it impacts life.
