    Hey everyone,

Just curious about when I should be turning on winter mode? I peeked briefly through the manual and didn't see any guidance about this.

    Your insight is appreciated!

  2. (1) Charging performance - good demonstration of assistance in charge rate at low temperatures here:

    (2) Avoiding restricted power at really cold temps (<-10 degrees C) and low SOC (<20%) determined by the EPCU in the car (this video start at 1:27):

In a nutshell - It won't affect available power until -10C and will only affect charging at below 15C, so any time after the temp drops below 16C and just leave it on until the ambient is above that threshold .

  3. To add to that, there doesn't seem to be any reason to switch it off unless you are in a situation where you need the most kilometers out of the last few percent of battery energy and it's under -10°C. It's fully automatic.
