I'm in the north bay, we got our 2020 Niro EV at Kia of Marin in Novato at the end of Feb, 2021. Just before the car inventory crunch happened. At the time there were lots of cars on the lot; I communicated with the sales dept via email at first and asked for 'edmunds average price' and they agreed in writing (email) before I talked to any sales person. I wouldn't say this was a fantastic deal, but the Kia dealer closest to me wouldn't come down to match it so I am comfortable with the transaction. This is our 3rd EV. We did have a fail of the main control board after 3 months, overall was a hassle as by that time the chip shortage had kicked-in. Kia provided loaner (ICE) car for the 3 weeks we had to wait for parts. It's now 15 months after that point and no other problems with the car. I did perform the modification to control the back-up chime as it's so loud for my neighborhood.
