Anyone know how the navigation included in the Ultimate trim receives real time traffic data? Is it through Bluelink? If yes, does that mean if I don't start paying $9.90 a month after the free 3 year Bluelink subscription I will no longer receive traffic data?

If correct, that would be similar to the BMW Connected feature I have on my 5 year old BMW. I have to pay $50 per year to receive traffic data. Thanks in advance for your help.

  3. I believe it is a mix of data sources.
    - HDRadio
    - XM-Radio
    - BlueLink
    - possibly even normal radio (common in Europe, not sure about US)

In Europe, Traffic information comes from the internet channel. And is not dependant on Bluelink - you can also share WiFi connection from your mobile phone.
