I am very impressed with the range especially when they quoted 415 kms in their ads and specs.. It's usually the other way around my 2015 leaf was never like that.
The European tests certainly listed 450 over the epa 415 and people said there’s was too optimistic. I suspect part of the reason the epa rating is being so easily defeated in Canada is the slight difference in the car as well. The American car the epa rating is based on uses resistance heaters for the cabin and not the heat pump as well as a heater for the batteries. The battery heater only operates under very cold conditions but the cabin heater would most likely be very much part of the epa tests and that heater is 10x less efficient then the heat pump.
