My 2022 Niro EV has a loose cover on passenger-side front bumper (see photo).
Any idea what it's for, or how to keep it closed (other than super glue)?
I keep pushing it closed by hand, and it appears flush to the bumper for a day or two, but opens up again.

I noticed this in almost all of the Kia Niros I saw on dealer lots also, so it's not just me.

Not on my '21. Do not think anything with respect to the bumper cover changed this year.

Your emergency tow hook screws into an attachment point behind that cover. It shouldn't be popping out on its own. Can you feel it click into place when you push it back in? For comparison, there is an identical cover (and attachment point) on the rear bumper.

I can press it back into place. Don't hear a click, but it stays flush with bumper for a day or two, then pops back out again.
Might take it to the dealer to look at it.
