Clearly , the HV BMS is a critical part of any EV. I have received several notices about the subject for my 2020 EV, starting in July 2020, and figure the BMS deserves a separate thread. The various notices said that Hyundai would "inspect and replace the HV battery if necessary". In a early notice, "will update the BMS by updating 4 ECUs in your vehicle" and then, in a later notice, it was "planning on updating the BMS software for detection of abnormalities in the HV Battery system while parked". I did get the "Campaign 196" done (or as dealer wrote "Recall updates completed") on 23 Nov. Would be helpful if anyone could identify the various BMS versions and how the current installed version might be seen on any Kona EV.
