But as for Kaiser when it is to start paying taxes and when it is going to pay back decades of back taxes that went to profits in all but name? Kaiser HMOs were a Nixon effort and they transitioned us from essentially a single payer county hospital system that had the best results and costs in the world to this broken system with some of the worst results for the highest costs in the developed world and can't cover everyone and has no reserve capacity to handle disasters as we've seen. And a system where instead of paying for actual health care we get a gambling addiction asserted in the middle that socializes endless fossil fuel losses. If Kaiser were to go through an open honest audit how may times would we see something like $200 million a year paid to a management relative in a contract for waxing the floor in single hospital for a single year or the equivalent with Wall St games? What is so frustrating about these kinds of people and their efforts and attitudes is it is like there is literally a moon sized rock coming right at earth at astronomical speed and they want to interrupt or divert from the effort to divert that rock wiping out life on Earth and all for political theater or whatever the real/manufactured disaster of the moment is. And it is like no, there is no future or no future worth surviving if we can't focus on the existential crisis but people with no grasp of the impending horizon keeping trying to interfere. It is like get the hell out of the way!
