The Hyundai service at the local dealer is crap here too. If you need a service appointment you have to drive to the service department as they don't answer the phone or return messages. There's a two month wait unless you whine about how your car doesn't work, and you better take any appointment they give you. They on been claiming they are under staffed for years now, with no improvement in sight. Part of the problem is that they can't do over-the-air updates. Another issue is their crappy gas engines. And yet another problem is that Hyundai is going electric, and so the dealers don't want to expand their service departments. I feel sorry for the folks buying a new Hyundai as the service department is a frigging mess!
