We have a new Level 3 charger in downtown Tucson located at the historic train depot. Rather ironic indeed. So, I just had to use it on day 2 as the free Level 3 chargers were both ICE’ed. GRRRR!!! The receipt shows that I charged via CHAdeMO. Rest assured that I did not. Sent from my iPhone using Inside EVs
It's a bummer there's no easy adapter between CCS and CHAdeMO, Oregon was a pretty early adopter for installing EV chargers so a huge number of them are CHAdeMO and J1772 only. I heard they're finally planning on upgrading most them to CCS within the next year but will leave the CHAdeMO for the leafs and the Tesla's with an adapter... Maybe yours was a previously upgraded one that never got the receipt changed?
