Saw this on the Ioniq forum. Out of curiosity, went out to check the Kona, and sure enough has the same little hole/button next to the vol knob on the HU. So if our que ever fills up for any reason, this might be the solution. So the tech said to get a paperclip and go to the car. Next to the volume knob is a small reset button. They said press it for 5 seconds. The system rebooted and it all came back immediately. The tech stated the car computer saves every command since day 1. It can get full and then the car no longer responds to any command as it cannot store them. This button clears the que. Anyway, it worked immediately. It's been 1 year, if that matters.
