I have a 4 yo, 2 yo and infant twin grandkids that I schlepp around one day a week. Anybody have success with 4 car seats in a Model Y 7 seater? Note - two of them are rear facing and I don't have to have any additional adults in the car. Also, it doesn't have to be super comfortable, just legal and safe. I haven't purchased the two infant seats yet so can buy anything that fits.
Not four but three... I have put my 4 yo niece's car seat in the third row, where she can climb in and I can buckle/unbuckle her in with a little help. I have also put her in the middle of the second row with my kid and her little sister in rear-facing seats that drop into a base or buckle in with a seatbelt, and with the bench pulled forward so that someone could sit in the third row. It works, but the seats are all touching in the second row. Perhaps if the 4 yo had a slim car seat, there might be a little more space.
