Xpeng P7 reached a new monthly record of close to 5,000.

Xpeng reports 6,565 electric car deliveries in June, which is 617% more than a year ago (from a low base of 916) and the best monthly result ever.

The Chinese manufacturer significantly expanded sales of both of its models the G3 and P7, partially thanks to the introduction of the lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery options.

So I scanned the specs for the G3, P7, and even looked up via Wiki the NIO, battery swap car. Widely reported, Xpeng looks like a less fierce Tesla knock-off yet their sales are increasing. As for NIO, battery swap would not be popular in North America and means the swap batteries are missing car bodies. Regardless, Xpeng and NIO are serious competition for Tesla which explains why the TSLA stock price has been coasting down.

As for driver assistance, Xpeng is going the multi-sensor approach while Tesla is going just vision. Upon solving the vision problem along with Full Self Driving, Teslas will have a higher profit margin ... a good thing. Still there is that market dilution.

Regardless, I need some cash for house repairs and expenses (two people can live as cheaply as three or more.) Still, my TSLA has increased by a factor of ten minus the capital gains.
