When does the Clarity disengage Direct Drive Mode at the upper end?

I know the Clarity’s direct drive mode engages at around 45 mph in low load conditions, but when or how does it engage if I have it at WOT near the speed limiter? Does it disengage much earlier and go back to Hybrid drive mode above a certain speed at all load conditions until it hits the speed limiter?

I’ve submitted the above graph before. It shows the window in which the vehicle will operate in EDM. While the vehicle speed axis lacks actual speeds in mph, we might conclude that since all driving modes cease to function at the same point on the graph, that point could possibly correspond to the electronically controlled speed limit of 101 or 102 mph. Personally, I’ve had the car up to 85mph in EDM. Then I reduced speed so as to minimize the possibility of receiving a costly citation.
