I know it takes 10 seconds for auto headlights to turn on in a tunnel and 10 seconds to turn off when you return to daylight. The only way to shorten that delay is to manually turn on headlights before or when entering the tunnel and remember to turn back to auto when leaving tunnel. Any better work-arounds?
But I've also noticed that in the winter months the auto headlights will activate in the winter mornings between 8-9am even in bright daylight and similar at end of day 5pm. Does anyone know what the programming is? Is the auto mode programmed for shorter winter days or is there a certain level of daylight that determines the threshold?
Thanks, Ed
