Do the custom WeatherTech mats actually use the OEM floor mat clips on the vehicle to attach? Trying to decide between WeatherTech and the TuxMats for floor mats. I've seen the YouTube video about the TuxMats but would like to see the same for WeatherTech.

Re: rubberized cargo mats for the rear cargo area, I am trying to decide between the OEM and the WeatherTech for Niro. What are the differences? Would both have to be trimmed for EV model? Does anyone have photos installed?

Yes, the WeatherTech mats use the OEM clips; many have suggested the Tux mats are superior. I have the WeatherTech cargo mat; some have suggested the OEM mat is superior. On a 2019 Kia Niro EV EX Premium I trimmed a very small piece that covered the ventilation grate on the left side behind the wheel well, presumably there to cool the premium sound system woofer...

Answered my own question. Ordered weather tech mats for 2019 niro ev, fit perfectly in the 2020. Hooks line up and everything!

My dealer forced WeatherTech floor mats as an extra option cost (that's how they make their money, along with some Pulse braking mode and VIN etching options) when I bough my Niro EV 2019. In the backseat, the floormat (it's one big chunk that spans from left to right back seat floor) seems to slide up slightly everytime someone sits in and gets out of the back seat, as there is no hooks for the floor mat... it just sits freely on the floor... Is this normal for it to slide around like that?

The WeatherTech online configurator accepts 2019 Kia Niro EV, and the all weather mats fit perfectly, down to the OEM hooks in the floor. Pricey, but worth it, IMO...
Maybe but not as well Tuxmat mats. I've had them both and Tuxmat's mats are remarkable and Made in Canada.
