Voice recognition, verbal directions and voice command button not working

About 2 months ago our 2021 Kona EV Ultimate stopped recognizing our voice commands then the button that activates the voice commands stopped coming up on the dashboard and finally the verbal directions for the GPS stopped talking. The GPS system still works. We can’t use the commands to make a phone call. Our dealer says it can’t be fixed as it is a “ network” problem. There is no diagnostic test for that part of the car’s system. It seems to me that the main unit needs to be replaced. Has anyone else had this problem?

I assume you (and/or the dealer) have tried to reset the head unit?
Then there is always possibilities by researching in engineering mode for anything obvious.
Regardless, you are not alone with voice command issues, hopefully yours can be solved easier.
