Video (and files) - Kia EV6 3D Printed Touch Button Cover

Kia thought it was a good idea to make the buttons at the end of the Kia EV6 console of certain trim levels, touch buttons. This means that they can be activated when you accidentally brush them when accessing the climate or media buttons that are right in front of the console. I made a remix design and 3D printed this button cover; it’s simple, quick to print, can be printed at home or via a 3D print service, and costs next to nothing. I strongly suggest printing it in PETG at a minimum, ABS or ASA are better, but not in PLA. PLA will melt in the summer heat in a car. FYI, I used PETG because that is what I had. Enjoy!

2025-01-26 UPDATE: I received requests to make a version without the heated steering button, as well as a version without ventillated seats, so I made them. I also received requests for a set for RHD vehicles, so there are new STL and 3MF files uploaded for all versions. The 3MF files are 3 plates each, with the settings I used in Bambu slicer.
