Twin mattress in clarity

Has anyone tried putting a twin mattress in the clarity for purchase, not sleeping? It doesn't look possible as the pass through opening is only about 30 inches and not very tall. If it was taller, folding it might work. I was thinking of picking up a 8" twin spring mattress from Ikea.

FWIW... their foam mattresses are pretty comfortable and since they're roll-packed it'll definitely fit in the trunk.

Thanks, I took some additional measurements and it most likely is not possible without contorting the mattress. I guess I have to pay for delivery or go with a foam one. I already saved enough with this car that should pay for delivery.

Check out the offerrings on Amazon for a twin mattress. There's a lot of competition and prices are pretty low. I bought one a couple of years ago, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004LQ1RJ2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 . This one is a full inner spring coil. Very comfortable. Also, free delivery.
