Quick question: How have you been tracking it? I mean, what sort of signal is the car sending out that you can track it?
I bought an ‘18 Touring two weeks ago and what I’d read on forums seemed to suggest cellular connectivity, but I find nothing about it in the manuals and AT&T says it’s not equipped for connectivity.
My HondaLink app only gives me info from the car when the car is near; say, when I’m plugging it in.
Am I missing something?

Summary:
Honda is constantly receiving information from vehicles with TCUs. Once you register the Hondalink app with a particular VIN, Honda shares some of that information with your app. Here are a few datapoints for the Clarity: 1) Odometer, 2) Vehicle service or alert notices, 3) GPS position via Find My Car (on the embedded map if the vehicle is not in motion), 4) Battery charge and fuel levels, 5) Charge timer schedule, 6) Inside vehicle temperature while remote climate is active (updated on 5 min intervals).
Also while the vehicle is in motion, the battery and fuel levels are updated every 5 minutes.
So, when a vehicle is sold, Honda has no automatic means of terminating the transmission of the vehicle data to the previous owner.
