My 2024 Kona's TPS Is not working right after getting flat tire repaired. Apparently you have to drive highway speed to recalibrate the sensor? I have done that to no avail. The dash shows 3 tires at 40lbs and one tire at 23 lbs. That tire is still inflated . because it shows on the dash I presume the 23 lb tires sensor is Working. I don't want to spend hours at my dealer to fix it unless I have to. I read on the net some tricks to get it working but it seems a bit long and confusing . Any thoughts on this matter I read all the threads in this forum and nothing seems to help. I think I may have to go to the dealer Dam..

If the sensor is not working, it should send an error code and light up the TPMS trouble light.
I would first try overinflating about 3-4 pounds, wait 1 minute, then drain all the air out to zero, re-inflate to factory specs I believe around 36 PSI, drive and adjust pressure to desired level after. If that doesn't work, undo the 12V battery for about 5 minutes, then re-connect to re-set the control module.
There is this method as well:

I thought about undoing the battery will that cause other concerns' I'll try the first trick first.

I found that you have to overinflate the tires (try 45psi minimum) to reset the TPMS. Once it is reset you can lower the tire pressure if you want without the TPMS light coming back on. Worked for me on my 2021 Kona EV and also on a Hyundai elantra rental. YMMV.

To Hyundai: why? and why is this not in the manual? Weird. Please be normal.

Mine reset after about 12 kms at 100km/h.
