Steering wheel off center

Since this seems to be quite common in the MINI community from what I see on forums etc..how many of you have steering wheels that are slightly turned to the left when driving straight on a flat road? We have a 22 and 23 in the household and they both have this issue. The 22 just had its first dealer alignment and it wasn’t corrected.

may not be the steering wheel. roads have camber so water drains towards the curb, and the car veers to the right in case one dozes off it will go away from oncoming traffic.

If I remember correctly, there should be a ring with holes and a set pin in the center of the steering wheel, so if it's off-center it may not be aligned to the proper hole. I learned this from experience when a used MINI I had was way off, turns out it was in a crash (prior to my ownership) and repaired slightly wrong so the alignment hole was off by about 15º. Just rotated the wheel to another hole and it was all good.

I don't know how that would apply to a non-used SE, though. I'd expect the factory would do things correctly. These aren't Teslas...
