One "advantage" to be stuck at home is that I am more tuned into the various launches, and I start watching the streaming - just because I am sick of the normal news.
There was something launching from Wallops Island VA back in early October. For us, that's about 60 miles away. We were watching the pre-launch preparations on a streaming feed, and once the rocket launched we went outside to watch the thing climb into the sky. Back before Covid, we once went to Chincoteague to view a launch - that was less than 10 miles from the pad, and we obviously got a much better view.
