Software updates Sep 2024?

I brought in our 2021 for its last warranty vehicle inspection today, and I was told that a software update will be done.

Has anybody done a software update lately?

Does anybody know what are the contents of this software update?

Perhaps they're talking about the software update for the recent high-voltage battery recall?

Probably, but there's no active recall for the SE with Waka Kotahi NZTA. At least you can still get the update!

At least the recent braking system recall does not affect the SE!

No one seems to know much about the recall (including the service techs).

Reporting back. Yup, the software update was done, the service guy didn’t have the details of what was updated, the answer was textbook, i.e. it’s just like the phone where you get regular updates like performance & functionality.

The only change I saw was an increase in the version number of the car.
