Love the Model 3 and love Lillium. But this Sion is the one that shows how utterly foolish
petrol and especially hydrogen are. This is basically a little Civic type car with a price of about 18K $$ that can go about 150 miles, recover the average American's daily commute just from the sun shining on it or it being left out in the sun. Also has enough power to pull a trailer.

This is perfect. Love to see the TAAS or self driving taxi version of this.

Agreed - it is as comprehensive a design as I have seen, that is getting close to production.

It adds up to 30km of range with the solar cells. This is obviously in sunny places with fewer trees.
 
@ NeilBlanchard true, but efficiency on cells will come up if slowly. Thing is perfected hot fusion involves 93 million miles of separation, 8 minutes of light travel and solar cells and batteries. Also note that there are now solar powered trains, even retrofitted ones.
