Shut down when looking out the back

Just tried to park 2022 made in Germany ID.4. When I turn to look out the rear window to check surroundings, the vehicle slams on the brakes and says goodbye.

WTF?

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Is this problem repeatable? How does your ID.4 detect when you turn to look out the rear window and how does it express, "Goodbye?"

It may be worth making into a Tik-Tok video.
 
I found the answer after a bit of searching. If you lift your butt off the driver's seat, the vehicle thinks you've jumped out and switches off.

Left-hand drive. So when I rotate to the right to look out the rear, I was levering up on the armrest. Because I was simply shuffling the car around by driveway I didn't have the seat belt on. Once the seat belt is on, the butt sensor is defeated and you can levitate all you want!
