Ship it enclosed transport with a company like Reliable or TFX. Pay the extra money with a proper company.
On the Porsche Forum a member shipped his Taycan via rail with a broker and busted the battery pack, now of course they are saying it wasn't them. At the shop we sold an Audi R8 and the client arranged transport... a car carrier showed up and had a **** ton of issues loading the car. We begged the client to leave the car with us and find another company. Anyways car left and underside was 25k in damage... guess who they blamed US. What a mess. Then there was a CL600 we bought from Victoria BC, To Montreal. Used Hansens. It went to Calgary via Truck then rail. Unloaded in Winnipeg and trucked the rest of the way to Montreal. It took 45 days, 15 of which the car was essentially missing showing last scan in at Winnipeg
It's the Wild West with shipping companies. Many will broker out services or last mile. Meaning let's say it's going cross country, vs being on the same truck or train the entire way. It's constantly being loaded/unloaded with brokers along the way.
