Hi,

Pure speculation. I wonder if the recent report about the Khashoggi murder might lead to a withdraw of Saudi investments in USA companies, like Lucid. Clawing back the money would be a challenge but turning off the support could lead to a lot of frozen startups.

Yeah, and why is the new US administration still protecting the Saudi Prince after this final report? The answer simply is, money talks. A slap on the wrist for scapegoat underling sanctions means nothing.

Nope, absolutely nothing will change. The Saudi relationship is actually beneficial to the US economy unlike Iran. Yet the new admin is actually embracing Iran.

Yeah, I hadn't heard/seen that. A little scary alright, if they get more money and use it to harm others.
 
I wonder if that's what triggered the SPAC deal. It's probably the fastest way for the Saudi's to get their money out of Lucid without taking a hit.
