Consumer Reports is down on Rivian and Some Early Rivian Owners Are Losing Patience With Software Fixes. Some of these owners complain about unsolved glitches with the Rivian ADAS.
I've always expected full self-driving will require LIDAR, but neither Rivian or Tesla appear to share my belief. The end of the decade is an ambitious deadline for such a small company.
