Rivian to attend CES 2020 in Las Vegas

Oh, nice to know! I'm actually going to CES this year. Though my focus will be the Nissan Arriya all-electric crossover, I should be able to find time for this. Can you tell me where you grabbed that graphic from? I'm thinking I should sign up to get whatever swag they giving out.
Please let me know if there are any questions or pictures you would like to see.

The graphic is an excerpt from the email Rivian sent. I'm a pre-order holder so I don't know if the email went out just pre-order holders or to anyone who signed up to receive their newsletter. I suspect the latter since the email included events that are for the general public like the San Francisco and Fully Charged LIVE events. Since you're an Admin of a Rivian forum I would have just assumed you're already signed up to receive their free newsletters. Perhaps you are and it's just buried in your inbox?
Since the CES is not open to the pubic ... you need anyone to help carry your bags?
A quick Google search on CES registration fees indicate they are around $1700 US. Yikes! I guess I would have to do a lot more than carry some bags to get that fee covered. LOL! Do you plan on attending Fully Charged LIVE event in Austin, TX? Rivian indicated in the same email they will provide a discount for those attending. Even offered to provide a refund if you already registered. They didn't offer any specifics (except for a link) but thought it was noteworthy.

Ah, that would do it, I'm not a pre-order holder (I wish! And seeing the R1S in white today might had almost made me favor that over the R1T). Maybe we should have a pre-order email thread.
I thought I had signed up for the newsletter, but I can't recall getting one. At least, not recently. Maybe I need to do that again to make sure.Luckily for me I don't have to cough up the cash for registration, because nope. One of the perks of working in the media, I guess. This will be my first time and I just hope I can be productive.
I am not attending Fully Charged in Austin as far as I know. That's the one thing I'd really like to attend too. I've never been to Austin but it's always sounded like it would be in my top 10 U.S. cities. And of course it'd be great to meet lots of new EV people and catch up with old friends.
