Rear view mirror breaks windshield

On my 2021, the internal rear view mirror has broken away from the windshield twice (thankfully under warranty), resulting in windshield replacements. The mirror was very hard to adjust and hopefully the lubrication of the pivot points will fix the issue.
Has anyone else had this issue?

FWIW mine moves without any problem. If however, any future troubles...consider this:
