Well there's the seatbelt warning bongs - these can be coded out with Bimmercode (which makes a nice difference), and the startup sound.
Thanks @tesrivmini, it is the seatbelt sound. No need for it to start as soon as we switch on the car.

Owning an EV brings the chance to unlearn a few habits. This is a case in point. With an ICE car it's normal to start the car, and then fasten the seatbelt. This gives the engine time to warm up before you drive off. But with an EV there's no need to warm up the motor, so a better habit is to fasten your seatbelt and then turn on the car. That completely eliminates the seatbelt warning.
Not easy to unlearn habits, and it may not be the solution you're looking for, but it's certainly a legitimate way to start out in the SE.

The seat belt warning was the first thing I coded out. I thought it was stupid because there are too many sounds going on at the same time. Maybe it would have been better if the timing of the warning was delayed after the startup sound, but they sound off at the same time and for me it was very irritating.

What is it you don't like about the regen braking? I've gotten to where using it has become second nature and I rather like it. That said, it would be nice if more settings were offered for it. As it is now, it's basically on or off.

If you use low settings is the same if you take off a foot from ACE car is slowing down just change your habit is a learning curve about EVs and remember you don’t change a brake pads for 100000 miles

Can the lo-fi startup sound be coded out?? I would love to remove it too.
Bimmercode can also remember your settings for drive mode and regen level. That might help?

Same here. I coded it out. Hated that klaxon sound over the SE startup tune. Much more peaceful now.

I've been driving 35+ years and don't need a sound to remind me to buckle my seat belt. I enjoy hearing the pure startup sounds the designer composed without the warning chime drowning it out.

The air raid siren when you start the car is the seat belt warning. Who knows why it plays when you start the car rather than when you try to drive off or shift into gear.
As for regen braking, it just takes some getting used to. I hated it at first, but now I pretty much only drive one-pedal.

Hard agree. We purchased used because we were too excited to wait the six months to get the mini we have on order. The price for the new is $4k more than what we paid for our used '22, but with rebates our brand new one will be considerably cheaper.

As for sounds, it’s just personal preference. I learned how to put my seatbelt on when I was 5 and haven’t forgotten since.
You don't need to start the motor to get it warming up before you put on your seat belt. Assuming you're going to fasten your seatbelt anyway, why not just do that first, before pressing the Start/Stop button?
If you don't want to fasten your seatbelt first because you want to listen to the radio the instant you're in your seat, you can activate standby state by pressing the Start/Stop button without depressing the brake pedal. Then, after fastening your seatbelt, depress brake pedal and press the Start/Stop button again to activate drive ready state.
I've suggested this procedure before, but was rebuffed with the rebuffer claiming that pressing the Start/Stop button twice is just too much. For those who don't want to press the Start/Stop button twice, it's good that Bimmercode can solve their problem.
