My previous car was a Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. My husband still has a Ford Explorer Sport Trac.
He drives my car more than I do, as it cuts commuting costs by a huge amount. Unless it’s nice out. Then he takes his motorcycle. I also have a motorcycle in the garage.
Our garage gets really crowded when the snow season starts and we shove 4 vehicles (and my kiln) in our 2 car garage.

2006 Prius. I put 150,000 miles on it over the 12 years I drove it, and really loved it. But I was ready for something new and different. I had cancelled my Model 3 reservation in December for a number of reasons. Then the hybrid battery on my Prius died in February, and I bought my Clarity in March. I drove an Accord in the '90s and was happy with it, so felt very confident going back to a Honda. Love, love, love it so far!

First a 2008 Prius, then a 2015 Prius. Both great cars. Super reliable. But Toyota was taking the line in a different direction than we wanted to go. We wee looking for a change to a better, more efficient, car.
Our other car is a 2005 V8 4Runner that is basically a boat tow vehicle. It stays parked as much as possible as it only gets between 8 mph and 20 mph depending on conditions. I used to think of the 4Runner Limited as our luxury car until we bought the Clarity.

The clarity replaced a Ford F150. I was driving a company car (F150) until that benefit was replaced with a vehicle allowance. The tax rebates, EV, and HV fuel economy make the car very inexpensive to drive. I am able to own/drive the car for a lot less than the vehicle allowance. Oh, and it's also very nice to drive and environmentally friendly...win, win, win.
I can't believe there aren't more on the road. I've put 6,000 miles on it and still haven't seen another one on the road.

2006 Toyota highlander Hybrid i4WD, 216,000 miles on it. selling it and bought the Honda Clarity Touring PHEV! Love it!

I had a 6 spd Nissan Versa, but have been trying to find the right electric car for several years until the Clarity came out

I'm coming from a 2008 Lexus ES 350, so far everything is amazing! The ride is almost as smooth, but since it doesn't have any gear shifting it feels like it glides on the road.
Only issue is that I'm coming from ventilated seats and it makes a huge difference in the summer. I don't know how much longer I can take it before modifying the seats.
The speakers I'm almost use to now, as long as it's not cranked up it's ok.

2016 Toyota Avalon Hybrid.
The Clarity seats are more comfortable with less road noise and the self-driving features are much better. There is more space in the trunk and more head and legroom inside.
I gave up auto dimming headlights, auto windshield wipers, blind spot and rear cross traffic alert and air conditioned seats; but I no longer miss them.

I had been wanting an EV since the Volt came out 8 years ago but it was way too small and cramped and with poor sight lines. The Tesla is way over my budget so I was waiting on the Volt to grow up and become a real car.
Got an email from Honda in Feb, spent a week on the Internut researching, read every thread in this forum, and bought mine 1 week later.
Been a happy camper ever since!

Likewise, from a manual shift 2003 Honda Accord LX. Clarity is like a spaceship in terms of technology by comparison.
