A lot of van and nice looking...but one would have to have an extreme love for this EV considering the price/range (RWD/234 miles - AWD/231 miles). Will start arriving at dealers later this year.

This vehicle's been around so long it will probably be rusty by the time it finally shows up in the on these shores! It went on sale elsewhere in 2022 and all they can say about NA deliveries is "later this year?"

Autoweek says the launch-only 1st Edition will offer a Dune interior. Does the Dune interior include a Sandworm? Or just sand?

The original VW micro bus while somewhat under powered was cheap, light and extremely simple to repair. That's why some of them can be kept running order to this day. A major Canadian automotive and hardware retailer used to sell VW engine kits consisting of a new set of cylinder heads, pistons and main bearings for the old air cooled boxer 4. The mechanically inclined could overhaul the engine in a day in their own driveway.

Looking at the id.buzz I see an expensive, porky mini-van that will be impossible to repair when it gets old.
