Took a look at my new Ioniq5's early travel history. Seems to (probably) say born on 12/24/21, put on a boat 12/26/21, arrived Philly 02/03/22. That is consistent with when I first got a VIN.
Then it sat there for the better part of a month. Presumably on a truck 02/25/22. I know it was in CT dealers garage 02/27. Possibly they had it 2/25 and just didn't tell me -- though it was all still wrapped on 2/27 so not much use to anyone.
I took delivery 10am 02/28.
Anyway, fun to try to mentally match all those many API pings while waiting with a bit more empirical evidence.
