Pre-Clarity Range anxiety :)

Gas was 30 cents cheaper at this station and I “had” enough range to make it.
1.8 miles to go and range dropped to zero. I made it but nearly. I found out that day all of the dots on the 2013 Honda Civic Hybrid could go away and range could drop to 0.

Here is after I filled back up:

Even when range drops to zero and all bars disappear you likely had a little under a gallon left.

Like you, back when I had my civic si, I told myself I can make it to Costco to save 35c/gal and my last bar disappeared with ~1 mile left to go. Car kept chugging along and I filled 12.3 gallons out of my 13.2 gallon tank.

It’s still a little nerve wracking . Unlike the Clarity I couldn’t get to a gas station when the Hybrids tank ran dry

The tank in the Civic Hybrid was also 13.2 so I guess I never pushed it lol. Largest recorded fill was 11.5 gallons
