Powerful Windshield Wipers

Nothing important, but has anyone else noticed that when the wipers are on high and you are stopped you can feel the car body shaking back and forth as the wipers go? It seems like the wipers should be balanced with the clap-hands wiper arrangement but the car does indeed shake in response. I've never noticed this on any car before but I've also never lived before where there are frequent deluges where you need high speed even when stopped.

Something else I noticed is that the wipers don’t seem to be directly connected to a gearbox mechanism like all of the other cars I’ve owned. With the wipers off, you can easily move the wiper to any position on the windshield. I thought this seemed a little different.

Overall, the wipers are terrible.

We live in the PNW, and based on posts here, decided to rainx the windshield instead.

Both the wipers and the squirter work great for me, just the reservoir is too small.
