First deliveries of the Polestar 2 are supposed to start happening this summer. At the same time, the first Polestar "spaces" should start appearing.
Beginning in New York City (Manhatten Motorcars), Los Angeles (Galpin), and San Francisco (2 Price-Simms dealers, possibly Volvo Marin and Volvo Palo Alto), the rollout will continue in 2021 with locations in Boston, Denver, Texas, Washington D.C., and Florida being added.
The company expects that by next summer, about 80% of its customers will be within 150 miles of a "space." Cars will be available in all 50 states and be delivered to customers. Those farther than 150 miles may have to pay a little extra for transportation.
I'll leave the associated press releases with more details in the next post below.
