Parking sensors - front and rear - anyone retrofitted ?

Has anyone done a retrofit using either OEM or aftermarket parking sensors on their Clarity?

I am looking at this company's electromagnetic field sensors instead of the old fashioned drilling 4 round holes:

Looks like a sensor strip is mounted behind the bumper and senses when hard objects are near by...

Saves you from drilling holes into the bumper...
 
That looks interesting indeed. Especially since it mounts inside the bumper. I went to the site and under the Italian distributor it seems it can be ordered and shipped to US. (Didn’t go through the whole order process but US could be picked). The front system was only $63. Anybody know if the inside front of our bumpers is smooth and can accept the sensor?
 
There is a front bumper mount version that is stuck onto the outside surface of the bumper as a chrome strip.

Maybe do-able. I need to examine the front bumper for a cut-line to follow.

Also, a Lexus owner documented a rear bumper install on a CT200h forum.

My only concern is the electromagnetic signal potentially disrupting some sensor/computer inside the engine bay but this tech has been around awhile and the reviews from various owners don't seem to report any interference problems.
