Paint Issue - Yellow Discoloration

I discovered some yellow discoloration on my silver clarity. It's a little bigger than quarter, located on the roof. I discovered it the second time I washed it, so it's noticable, but not obvious.

The dealer washed and buffed to see if it is under the clear coat. They believe it's under the clear coat and have sent pictures to Honda. I expect Honda will direct the dealer to fix it.

I have seen a few paint related threads on the forum. My issue seems different than others.

Now I have to wash my car and give it a thorough inspection. lol

I've read the other threads as well and apparently Honda has had some serious issues in the past with paint from what I gather. I am new to Honda cars and hoping the experts can shed light on past paint issues and how they were resolved?

I am hoping Honda backs up their product if indeed there are paint issues. Maybe there isn't...not saying there is...just hope they stand up and be counted if there is. The fellow in the other thread is being told its bird feces. Wow.
