My friend's 2011 Clarity has 31K and recently threw the P2DE1 code.
Found that same year HRV and Accord hybrid have TSBs related to this code with a PGM-FI software update recommended. But there's neither a TSB nor a software update available for the Clarity (checked using the ECU Rewrite tool).
Visual inspection of the air intake and filter as well as general inspection for rodent evidence under the hood didn't result in anything unusual.
Initial scanner live data for MAF, air intake temp, and coolant temp all look reasonable. Long term fuel trim -3% seems OK also. Have yet to check air/fuel sensor data.
Cleared the stored DTC to see if it comes back or if the permanent DTC will go away. Would it make sense to examine the throttle body? Any other troubleshooting ideas or suggestions? Thanks.
