Ontario Rebate - Beware - Email Confirmation?

Did you submit by email your EHVIP or EVCIP rebate application and if so, did you receive an automated email confirmation of receipt? After calling the Ministry of Finance and reading a Tesla thread about rebates it seems that if you don’t get your rebate that they need that confirmation as proof of submission before their deadline to rectify. Also, their inbox was apparently down between June 1-4. A lot of money is riding on a single email response if they mess-up. This reminds me of an incident with my Filipino nanny a few years ago who almost got deported because they lost her immigration application for residency. I had to escalate to our member of parliament to save her.

Also an FYI, you only get one email confirmation per 24 hours. So if you submitted your rebates for charger and vehicle on the same day, only the first email will receive an email confirmation.

However, you have your sent email copy from your email as proof you sent it and when.

I sent my EVCIP in July, received confirmation email afterwards but nothing else until now, still waiting for the $$$. Is there any hope I’ll get the $$$ ? What should I do now ?
 
That's interesting. I got my car mid-August and the dealership did all the paperwork and submit it. I received a letter from GrantsOntarioSystem that Honda is getting $13,000 on Oct 30th and another one for $1000 on Dec 13th. If you send it in in July, you should probably call them to find out the current status
 
Mine took 5 months (Apr 27 to Sept 29), and I was ahead of the big rush that occurred when Ford came in, so I'm not surprised it's taking a bit longer now. You can call them to get status, they'll tell you the submission date of the ones currently being processed.
 
In my case Honda dealer applied for rebate for car but not for charger.
Dealer got rebate of 13K but still waiting for rebate for Car charger yet. Submitted in June and still waiting
