OBD2 port location

So the port( Canadian version) is located under the dash below the fuse panel (above the hood release) unlike the reports from UK(one person is producing a fuse cover with a hole to accommodate.
This make it SUPER easy to run an OBD extension cable c/w 90 under the dash supported by existing wire harnesses and exit under the steering wheel (attach the reader w/velcro).
Still have to download Torque pro and pertinent files, (later)

I think v2 has auto shutoff mine has a power switch, safer to have an in line power switch on the cable itself if using a reader without one.

How did the cheapy work out for you? Does it work with ABRP?
