2018 Can Clarity Touring.

Outside plugged into 220V charger temp -6c.

Horn starts rythmically on/off..
Go out to car. Not charging (no green light)
unplug charger. horn stops. plug charger back in.. still quiet.

Any comments?

If someone figures out this problem, the solution should be posted under a new thread with a searchable title, such as "Horn Beeping When Charging."

Charging a lithium ion battery below 32 degrees F damages the battery. Using the battery moderately below freezing is fine but not charging it. Make sure your battery is above 32 degrees before attempting to charge it. I assume the car is just trying to protect the battery.

While that is true in general terms; the Clarity (in Canada) has a battery heater and "tells you" to plug in the car as the temperature is low; also the horn started blaring AFTER the battery had been charged - in the cold...
Never did it before (in much colder temps) - and hopefully won't do it again!

The horn is only connected to the security system (and steering wheel). The beeper is used for all other alerts.

If this was the horn, not the beeper, then the security system was set off, which could be for myriad reasons.

Would not be the first time somebody set off a car alarm by accidentally pressing the alert button on the fob in the pocket, hence my question.
