Picked up a backup camera on sale and installed it on the front license plate, adjustable for any angle so good to see the top of the curb. The only downside is it is a backup camera so the picture is reversed but is still good enough to prevent any of the bumper damage or scrapes. As Ev owners, we know how low these vehicles are for aerodynamics. I had some scrapes on my Prius. I mounted the display on the left side out of the way, does not bother vision or clutter up the center of the dash. I wired a switch on the left side beside the other controls the other, so can be turned on as you approach a curb, (there is a switch knockout here). Works well so far, if they fail will install a better quality one. Have installed one on my 2006 Honda Ridgeline 3 years ago and still working good. Purchased the first Honda Ridgeline 12 years ago and had no problems so not too worried about the Clarity being new. The only downside is that I have to go to a Honda Clarity dealer for service which is 450 kilometers away instead of a local Honda dealer which is only 170 kilometers away.
