My Clarity experiment is done

I don't have my base Clarity anymore, but I remember half way through my ownership I adjusted driver seat position. You should move it a bit forward so that your back is pushed a bit into the seat back (do not move the seat too far back). After this adjustment the seat was very comfortable. If you push it too far back and seat on it like a sofa it is not comfortable.

We now have an i3 (regular not the S model) and a VW iD4. I miss Clarity's long distance road trip chops.

What I didn't like:
• Weak fuel economy on the highway, mid/high 30s at 75mph (tires properly inflated)

I have taken several long road trips with my 2018 Clarity Touring. After subtracting out EV use and calculating the mpg from fuel used and distance, I typically have gotten 41 mpg. I still have the notes I took from a 2394.2 mile trip to Geneva, IL and back from my home in Florida. 41.3 mpg.

As to the seats, I have read other complaints, but they always (as I remember) are regarding the seats in the base Clarity. I find the seats in the Touring model to be very comfortable.
