Noticed after I got the car washed yesterday that the plastic base cover on the drivers side view mirror was AWOL.
I didn't notice until I was getting back in the car after a couple of stops. Went back to the car wash and asked if they found it. They looked briefly, but a sunny day and fairly long line had me leave my card so they could call (I live just a couple of miles away). They called an hour or so later.
They had indeed found the piece, but a chunk was missing - run over or ??
Part # is 76252-TRV-A01 (#10 above) and lists for $7.42
Will ask Honda to replace under warranty as I don't think it should pop off in the car wash. The local dealer gives coupons for this car wash when you have any service done, so they shouldn't have an issue with me using them.
Worst case is I ask for a free car wash which costs about the same as the part.
