Nanaimo is known as the Harbour City but in the past it was known as the Hub City, partly inspired by downtown's distinctive fan-shaped street pattern.
Being a central location on Vancouver Island and a BC Ferry port, we are lucky here to have an extensive DC charging hub as well, for travelers heading north or south...very convenient.
Among those include Tesla, Petro Canada, Electrify Canada, BC Hydro, On the Run and now a new network of fast chargers being installed by Mercedes-Benz.

The Alpitronic HYC400 units are located west side across from Sportcheck and are known for reliability. CCS and NACS connections are listed on the Plugshare site linked above.
"If two vehicles are charging simultaneously it will split the 400kW of total power in 50kW increments as needed so a slow-charging EV sharing a tower won't throttle the other one that can make use of the extra power."
