for non-Tesla EV owners, you can undock both and use the Supercharger with the CCS adapter.​

This is great because it opens Federal funds to upgrade and expand the Tesla Supercharger network. The non-Tesla networks are doomed. As the number of expensive, unreliable CCS-1 networks decay, Tesla will become stronger and stronger.

I am looking forward to meeting anti-Elon biggots at the Superchargers. I'll suggest they can always see their EV and buy an ICE, PHEV, or hybrid.

I see this as a bigger win for owners of vehicles with CCS then Tesla owners, even if Tesla only puts the adapter on the federal grant installs and underused Tesla stations.

However, the Tesla does get a bunch of benefit. They get federal money to install more stations, and they get to spread out the demand and maintenance charges to more customers.
