Now, if they would just get on with the IPO....I might be able to buy one.

They are likely to go public, sooner than later, but it looks like they are going the special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) route instead of an IPO.
The company most-heavily favored for them to merge with, Churchill Capital Corp (CCIV) has seen huge increases in its share price already. In fact, it's up $10.53 just today.

Do you know how many have reserved for Lucid Air Dream Edition? I believe they are making about 200-250 Dream editions, but I am not sure. The total production of Lucid Air in 2021 is between 30,000-34,000.
I have reserved my Dream Edition in March 2017 and expect to be one of the earliest ones. But I don't know how many are ahead of me.

Congratulations on your reservation! Everyone I've spoken with who've got to see the Air close up has been impressed.

I've did some looking and there doesn't seem to be any public reservation numbers out there. I've also contacted someone who might know more (though, if they do, they may not be able to say).

I would bet, though, you will be among the very first to receive their car. I hope you will share a bit about your experience here when it happens.
